Started in 2023, UrbaNights is our annual student-led networking night designed to build connections and inspire ideas between like-minded students and professionals. Our speaker series introduces innovative and inspiring ideas from some of Calgary's leading industry professionals, igniting new and insightful conversations. Our mission is to working through the creation of a better world through Urban Studies, Geography, Architecture, Planning, Design, Policy, and Business. ​

This networking night strives to help promote the next generation of community change makers and open up the opportunity spark new ideas from diverse perspectives inspiring the next generation to build more inclusive, innovative, and sustainable futures.
UrbaNights 2025
Hosted at The Ampersand in Downtown Calgary, this event brought in 116 participants, making UrbaNights one of our most successful events to date. This year we brought together a panelist of 3 prolific industry leaders who's voices brought a diverse expertise, offering forward thinking perspectives into urban policy planning and innovation.

UrbaNights 2024
Hosted at The Ampersand in Downtown Calgary, this years event brought in over 100 participants. UrbaNights brought in a speaker series consisting of some of Calgary's leading industry partners, highlighting some of Calgary's most innovative projects like downtown strategy's office apartment conversion program and RedPoint Media Group's initiatives in promoting urban placemaking in Calgary.​
